How I Spent My Forth.... ^ -^

Hey ya'll...

So we spent our forth of July with my mother in-law in Fort Jones...


Here are the pictures...

We spent a pretty relaxing time up in the mountains. And the weather was beautiful! We took my niece and nephew with us, and I was worried they would ask about seeing some fireworks, but we were having such a great time, they didn't even ask about it.

Superstitions....What?

So this past weekend, I went to a friend's daughter promotion Bar-B-Que in Fremont.
It was Super HOT!!!!!! 106, and I was melting!

They had two tables reserved, one was by the sand, with no shade. (the young crowd was chillin there). The other was a little ways up the hill, but it there was a tree there, so it was shaded (the older folks chilled there for obvious reasons, hahah) I chilled with my friends down at the younger table for a bit, but I just could not stand the heat anymore, so my hubbie and I went to the table with the shade (aka old people hang out).. HAHHAHAA.

The ladies started to talk and tell me about the Philippines and stuff. (People always think I'm Filipino... hahah it's funny). Then they started talking about their fathers and ex husbands, which I thought was funny, because for a good hour they didn't know my husband and I were married. Which lead to this conversation :

They went on to ask if I had a widows peak, which I do, and they where telling me that it's too bad because I would be left alone. HAHAH I was like what??? They said that, that's why it's called a widows peak, and that it meant that if you were to marry, my husband would pass and I would be left alone. Sad right?!?! So after they finished explaining the tale, I looked at my husband and said, "wow...honey you better be careful, you might die before your time cuz you married me." HAHAHHA then the ladies looked at us and said " you guys are married??" in shock.

They could not apologize fast enough, and said they thought we were friends, and making fun, but not really. HAHAHHAHA And told me not to worry, AHHAH ah too late?! How are they going to tell me my husband is gonna die, then tell me not to worry? HAHAH seriously it was hilarious...

I've heard weird things about certain physical traits meanings different things, like I have a small mole under my right eye, and a friend said that if you have any marking, such as a mole or something under your eye, you WILL cry alot. I thought that was stupid. HAHAHHA until someone else told me the same thing and that got me thinking. (little pebble in my brain bouncing around) Hmmmmm

I've heard of things like don't walk under a ladder, and the number 13 begin bad luck, but never have I heard that a physical trait can determine your life.

I grew up watching the cartoon in elementary school. I would run home because it would start at 3:30, and I didn't want to miss it, it was followed by Robotech.
Do you guys remember Robotech??

Oh I loved this cartoon!! A cartoon soap! hahaahha it was fabulous.... I should have a marathon weekend and watch the entire series..

They should really make a movie based on this too. I bet it would make hella money!! I need Michael Bay's phone number... HAHA

OK, now for the bad news...I was two blocks away from my place and guess who stops me!!?

I almost made it home.... Booooooooo
He said I made a rolling stop at the corner and there was a person standing there...
Blah, blah....Blah... I didn't run that person over so what's the big deal.. sheesh.. HHAHHAA
But, he was nice. He did give me a ticket, a fined for something, not sure what....but it wasn't for a moving violation...which means it won't be on my record, DMV will not be notified and neither will my insurance be notified. The only thing is that I don't know what the exact fined will be.. so that had me a bit worried. (biting nails) Oh well, at least I should be glad I don't have to go to driving school to clear it from my record and stuff.

Ok that's all for my exciting and eventful nite.. ahahahhaha

Outdoor party fun! and daddy's day

This past weekend we headed to SF for my nephews 10th birthday... The weather was nice, but a bit windy...and we had a blast!!

Sunday of course was spent with the family for father's day...


My daddy makes me laugh...he is hilarious....you should see him with all his grand daughters, he spoils them rotten! but don't get it twisted, he also has a death stare and an iron fist if you start acting stupid... hahahahahhaha

heheh... i'm back Again... i'm such a loser. hahahhaha .. i've been SO bad about updating. I have no excuses! It's has been pure laziness. I'm sorry. :( HAHAHA. There was work and school finals, so I guess it wasn't all laziness.. ^-^

FIRST.. my life events...

It was my baby's birthday yesterday so we spent the afternoon at the park and he got some portraits taken, Pictures by yours truly ^-^

HAPPY 4th Birthday Saki.. mama loves you.

He is such a sweetie pie, he gave me kisses.. ^-^

HAHAHA i have no idea why he had that face... he's such a joker.. HAHAH


One weekend in late May a co-worker invited us to a craw fish thingy in the city...I had never been to one of these before, so it was an awesome experience.



The potatoes where yummy.. the corn was delish and even though those craw fish were a bit of work, they were perfectly cooked!!! John did such a fabulous job! He deserved a big gold star!!!!... plus the fact that he was having fun, was the cherry on top! HAHAHA

We also spent some time with my new little niece...


She is such a calm, happy baby....I want to take her home with me....Hug her, and squeeze her .. ahhahahahah

The following weekend I headed over to the OC to visit Katie for her house warming party.


I got her a huge cup cake pan, cuz she loves cup cakes!!!

The following weekend, my friends and I went to watch Kisha Tyler


She was HILARIOUS!!! my cheeks were hurting.... my face cheeks that is... hahahah




Then I headed out again and meet Katie in Arizona.. bye Oakland...

I went to a Giants game for a work team event...

They had bacon wrapped hotdogs with a spice ass pepper!! It was HOT!!


We took my niece and nephew to the movies to watch Up...my nephew played rock star while we waited for the movie to start...


I give this movie.... TWO THUMBS UP!!!!!!!!!! i loved this movie.



I also headed to New York for Memorial Day Weekend to visit my best, oldest friend in the world!!! HAHAHHAHAH

DO NOT Waste your money on this, I repeat.. DO NOT waste your money on this.

I have several sweaters and silk shirts that I wear for work, so I got this thinking it would help keep my clothes fresher, stain free and keep the dry cleaning cost down a bit.
So what you do is put this under your shirt, under your underarm crease.
It suppose to stick so that's not a problem, the problem was that it's TOO sticky and it really stuck to the fabric and it left a sticky goooyie ( is that a word?) ahah anyways... it left a gooyie sticky film on my sweater and on my silk shirt..I was so pissed. I forgot to take a picture..(lame i know) So yeah, don't waste your money on these things.

I saw this on TV, and when I saw it at walgreens for 9 bucks I had to buy it!! and give it a try.



And the verdict is...it's OK.
I have used it twice. It does work, but the only problem is that I have to have my hubbie help me remove it. I guess I can remove it myself, but it's a task!! I rather do it the easy way and have him slap it off. hahahahhaha

My SHOES!!!! hehehe My BCBG's came in. Can't wait to wear them out!
