So this past weekend, I attended history in the making for the Oakland A's.
Rickey Henderson is now part of the Hall of Fame and his number was retired on Sat Aug 1st!
In Oakland, August is now Rickey Henderson MONTH!! hhahahha how awesome is that!?!

I was so excited to be part of this. He was the main reason I started to watch baseball back in 1988... My best friend and I used to lose our voices yelling out his name and yelling... Run Rickey run!!! he was the king of stealing bases!! He made baseball exciting!!!
They lost the game this night, but it's ok... it was still an awesome night!
